How Is Experience Assessed?

Experience is based on contributions, implementations, and training related to GovStack. Companies are classified into four levels — from Novice to Ambassador — based on time and depth of experience.

Prerequisites
  • Agree to GovStack principles
  • Participate in community calls at least once a year
  • Have at least 3 employees
Ways to demonstrate experience

There are three ways a company (or its team) can prove its experience:

1/ Contribution

Voluntary involvement in GovStack specs or tools (e.g. GovSpec, GovTest, GovLearn)

2/ Implementation

Projects using GovStack tools — often assigned by governments or founding partners (e.g. GIZ, ITU, Estonia, DIAL)

3/ Training

  • Participation in GovStack training (e.g., Women in GovTech or Architect Training)
  • Each training counts as 1 working day
What counts as “experience”?
  • Working days = actual time spent (not just the duration of the project)
  • 8 hours = 1 working day
Testimonials Required

Two forms of proof must be submitted:

1/ Proof document

A reference project, deliverable link, authorship, or similar showing connection to GovStack.
